Hi guys.im back again.i just booked out ytd night at 8pm straight after i came back from SIT test which is a 3 day outfield event.Daily heavy rains,body full of mud n sleeping wif the same pair of uniform and squeezing with 160 ppl in a relatively small training shed was part n parcel of SIT test.Moreover we have to go for route marches everyday before we embarked on our missions.My legs filled up wif blisters n sore with bruises.Totally shagged out but i wasnt going to slp my weekend away.i was 48 hrs deprived of sleep but i still went out.Headed to boat quey with frds for a round of drinks n went down to devils.Havent touched alcohol in like 2 mths.Came back to rest only at 6am and now im awake.7 more hrs to go and im going back to tekong again.Im beginning to miss home alot.Every mth i just get to sleep at home like maximum 4 times only.i rarely get to see my mum n my brother.I dun have enough time to do my own things.I feel like my life is sold to the govt.I dun wanna lead an army life.I just wan a simple life.
Before i went for my 7 day field camp 2 weeks before.I came across some interesting quotes by the ex PM of msia in a newspaper.
"The judge did not say (Anwar) did not (commit sodomy).The only problem was the police got the date wrong.So,now if somebody is murdered and u know that murder was commited by so and so...but if u got the date wrong, most probably u are going to get aquitted.So if u feel like murdering,come to msia."
And this quote which i found to be quite true?
"Some Asian countries,of course,allow an unlimited no of years for the leaders to lead.Some suspect that these govts are not democratic because the govt party remains in power for so long.But if the ppl choose to return to the same party and leader,is it not a democratic right of the ppl to do so?provided that proper elections are held?"

Finally field camp is over.7 days without cold drinks,fresh food,showers and a proper bed.Life is hard.i lost a total of 3 kgs for this 7 days which i considered very little as i survived totally on biscuits alone..yes..3 meals of biscuits and the rest of my diet consists of packet tea,milo and cereal which i consumed by pouring it inside my mouth and mixing it with water before swallowing it.The combat rations were really disgusting to me.Picture a packet of vegetable rice and smashing it into a pulp.We travelled to a total of 3 destinations in the outskirts of tekong,each having it own distinctive terrain which we trained in.I swear that the 3rd place that we went to were fucking infested with mosquitos.I have never seen that number of mosquitos anywher in my life before.basically with 1 swipe of yr hand u could at least kill 5-6 if they are slow.Imagine 10-20 mosquitos following u and attempting to bite u as u walk along the forest.Yes i am not lying.ASAP i totally covered my whole body with insect repellent,squeezing the whole bottle and easily another onto my uniform n exposed body parts.
Well,the last part of the field camp was the battle innoculation course or BIC for short in which we have to do a series of leopard crawls and back crawls thru a series of obstacles.It so happened that the last day of field camp had to be a rainy one and we crawl thru the painful 70 metres of mud,water and sand.Basically the whole rifle.SBO and uniform were soaked n filled with alot of everything but all of us were very happy as it marks n signifies the end of field camp! So glad that its over.
Going for field camp next week...will be booking in tmr and then only be out 2 weeks later...no bathing for 7 days...rain..siong training everyday,camo on face everyday..combat rations for 7 days...prone..leopard crawl..mud...commando mosquitos..digging foxholes and trenches..blisters..no sleep..
